    Hi Rob, Thanks for you comment. When I look up Madame Siddung I don't get a plant. Do you happen to know the Latin name so I can search for it?

    The plant you have listed as Spirit Weed, is Madame Siddung in Jamaica. It is poisonous, whereas Spirit Weed isn't. Spirit Weed is actually used as a medicine and as a culinary herb. The proper name for Spirit Weed is Culantro. The two plants do look similar but Culantro do not have jagged leaves, does not bear a white flower and is not poisonous.
