Nov. 24, 2019 - Flowers

Winter is upon us here in Minnesota so there are no flowers blooming outside anymore. However, we just moved to a new apartment and within the building complex there is a small conservatory where I found a few blossoms.

There are some Calla Lilies blooming.

Only a few Begonias still brightened the room with their red blossoms.

There are several Orchid plants in the conservatory. I don’t know much about orchids, so I assumed this one was a yellow variety. Now I’m wondering if the yellow color indicates this is a blossom past its prime. Perhaps someone who knows will put the answer in a comment below or send me an email at earlorf@uslink.net to clear this up.
