De. 15, 2019 - Frost Crystals on Glass
Read MoreEvery once in a while, low temperature and moisture in the air combine to create frost crystals on glass surfaces. That happened on the porch windows at our home in northern Minnesota recently and I grabbed my camera to record them before the crystals disappeared. I converted this photo to black and white and it really makes the shape of the crystals stand out.
I was concentrating on finding interesting patterns of crystals and wasn’t paying close attention to what was outside in the background of the photos. As a nature photographer, I should always be checking the background. However, when I downloaded the photos to my computer, I had the pleasant surprise of finding some beautiful background colors, like the blue in this one.
