Oct. 29, 2017 - Oregon-Part 1
Read MoreWe stayed in Bandon for about two weeks. One day, we drove north to Simpson Reef Overlook. This is Shell Island, which can be seen from the viewing platform. The flat area in front of the big rock is covered with California Sea Lions and Steller Sea Lions. At the very bottom of this photo there are some rocks and the white objects on these rocks are Harbor Seals.
This is the view from the condo unit we rented. We had several spectacular sunsets looking out over the Pacific Ocean. Those rocks along the shore are called sea stacks and they are huge! There are two people along the shore, about in the middle from left to right, to give some perspective on the size of the rocks.
