May 28, 2017 - MN North Shore

Last weekend I took a trip to Minnesota’s North Shore to visit the stores that carry my note cards. Of course, that also gave me a chance to take some photos. Marsh Marigolds were in bloom and here’s a nice example.

At the Grand Marais harbor, these Canada Geese were being very protective of their newly hatched goslings.

This gosling swiped its bill across the water and left an interesting trail of water droplets in the air.
