We live in Shoreview, Minnesota, a suburb of St. Paul. Like many communities, Shoreview has a summer festival and it is called Slice of Shoreview. The festival was held last weekend and included a fireworks display. Earlier this summer I attended a two-hour seminar on photographing fireworks. Slice of Shoreview gave me a chance to try out the techniques I learned. Here are some of my favorite photos from that evening.
