From September 16-23, Diana and I made our annual fall trip to the North Shore. Fall bird migration was in full swing and Golden-crowned Kinglets were everywhere. I saw so many of them and was able to get lots of good photos. Here are the best ones.
These birds are really small, only 4 inches long, and they weigh less than ¼ ounce. The tiny beak, perky little eyes, golden stripe on the head, and tan feet just seem to shout “ADORABLE.”
