The farm is a family operation and two of the children participated in the horse show. In addition to raising horses, they have a huge greenhouse where they grow tomatoes all year. It’s a very sophisticated growing climate. Computers control the amount of water and the amount of artificial light to maximize the yield of the tomato plants. All of this can be remotely monitored and managed from cell phones and tablet computers. Very impressive! We also had a delicious lunch served in the greenhouse – featuring tomato soup, of course.
