As part of our winter stay in Florida, Diana and I went to Sanibel Island (near Fort Myers) for a week. One day we were at Blind Pass and a group of Snowy Egrets were fishing along the Gulf Coast. They stood at the edge of the water and snatched up small fish swimming just off shore.

on February 11, 2013Hi Earl, Thanks for the pics of snowy egrets ~ such graceful and elegant birds. You captured them beautifully. Felt sorry for the little fish though. All they were doing was swimming along minding their own business... Stopped by Silverwood the other day and your card rack looks great with a nice variety. The male cardinal photocard really stood out but I enjoyed looking at them all. Hello to beachcomber Diana and continue to have a wonderful time in sunny Florida!
