Guestbook and Bio - earlorfphotos
Thank you for visiting my web site. I hope you enjoyed the photos. My goal as a photographer is to use my camera to capture the beauty of nature. My special interest is birds but I also enjoy taking pictures of insects, mammals, wildflowers, and beautiful scenery. If you found some photos you would like to purchase as prints, you can do that right here on the web site. Each photo in the “gallery” section has the option to “Buy this Photo.” Select that option and when you are finished, go to your shopping cart for easy and secure checkout. The prints will be delivered right to you.
I’m a former teacher so I see my camera as another way to bring the fascinating aspects of nature to a wider audience. The “Did You Know” page ( http://www.earlorfphotos.com/Did-You-Know) will be my way of showing you interesting nature facts that would be hard to see on your own and are seldom shown in field guides. Check back often to see what is new.

“Pictures of the Week” gives me a way to share my ongoing nature experiences with you. I try to post something new almost every week.
Hi Andrea,

Thanks for your nice comments. I'm glad you enjoy my photos. The "did You Know" page is listed on the "Galleries" tab but here's a direct link. http://www.earlorfphotos.com/Did-You-Know

Yes, I am holding a baby bear. I took a class in nature photography from the University of Minnesota and going to a game farm was part of the class. Each of the participants had their picture taken holding the baby bear.

Hi, Thank you so much for sharing with us nature lovers. I am also an artist and I paint birds and am just beginning to think about painting other animals in nature. If you are curious my web site is www.andreabrooks.com.
I am not quite sure where the "Did you know page is". Would love to see it.
I love your little friend in the photo is he a baby black bear?

Hi there Earl, what an absolute treat your website is! Beautiful photos and lots of interesting facts all so very well laid out. I feel so very lucky to have been in Costa Rica with you and hope to one day run into you on another trip. You were a pleasure to spend time with, and seeing your pictures inspires me to get out there and shoot some more. Best wishes to you for 2015. Jackie, Houston, TX

I saw your work yesterday at the Owl Fest in Houston, MN. I was there with my granddaughter. Your photography is captivating. I am a budding photographer and hope to delve into it increasingly as I get closer to retirement. I will check your website often to see your latest photos. Thank you.

Earl, I sent you a separate e-mail in hopes you could help identify a tiny little beauty I photographed on Wasson Lake near Grand Rapids :-) I am a kayaker, but I like doing photography with my WATERPROOF (!!) camera. I don't do much with wildlife, because the zoom is digital, not optical, so wildlife results are mediocre. Plants, however "hold still" when you get close to them ~LOL~ nice website!!!

    Hi Earl,
The photos are awesome. I am a beginner birder. Have you published any bird books? I love the sparrows and warblers. My favorite bird, the Black Crested Titmouse, is the bird that inspired me to bird watch.
    Thanks for sharing,
    Mary Ann
