At the baby animal workshop that I attended, we also photographed three Red Fox kits, none of which were actually red. This one was mostly white with some darker spots.
This fox kit was all black. The Fur-Ever-Wild employees told us this is just the color of the baby fur and the little fox would eventually be all red, like you would expect a Red Fox to be.
The third fox kit was almost all white with just a small dark ring around its face. The white ones will stay white as adults. All three of them were really cute and very energetic.
Even an 8-inch log is a big hurdle when you are a tiny little fox kit.
We also photographed a baby Porcupine. Even adult Porcupines are slow moving, but this little one was content to just slowly walk along the top of a log.
After a short time, the baby Porcupine decided it was nap time.
I even had a chance to get my picture taken holding one of the baby Gray Wolves (see the photos from the last two weeks.)
